Placed within 30 minutes' car ride to Peebles. Free Wi Fi was working perfectly.

Food was great only used for one night as travelling. We would it use again. Staff were excellent. The rate online was better than the normal advertised rate at the hotel.

Clean room, war and comfortable stay, good catering, breakfast and evening meal selection was very good, friendly and helpful (and entertaining) staff.

The hotel was comfortable and provided a pleasantly sized single room. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. The hotel also provides dinner in their restaurant if you wish it but for me the inexpensive bar meals were a welcome alternative.

At breakfast it would have been nice to have a menu or something similar to indicate the format and also the content of the 'cooked breakfast'

three friends stayed on the way to the Scottish highlands. We all had a very comfortable room. We had a bar meal which was excellent and the portions more than enough, more so we could not even manage a dessert. There was a very good breakfast to start us on our way north.

Staff were all excellent.

I had pre-booked dinner - but found out on arrival the dining room was being used for a function and out of use . The bar menu was fine but not what I was looking for .

when we first went to our room it was like entering a fridge the heating only came on early evening then went off again later on

I liked the fact that we felt so relaxed as soon as we entered, the staff were great. The room was very cosy, again very relaxing. The staff for our breakfast were great, the food was lovely also the feel of the breakfast area was lovely. Very happy with our stay, just a shame that it was so short.

Very convenient to break the journey north. Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast, easy parking.

Ideal location for me. Half way point in my journey from Aberdeenshire to Leeds. Able to have glass of wine with dinner. ( not possible at motorway service Days Inn) just up the road.

Abn ideal hotel to stop at when travelling fromSouthern England to the North of Scotland. Very friendly and good food.

Rooms appears a bit dated but were very clean.

Friendly staff. Quiet location but close to motorway and easy to find.

Very small room with a tiny TV. WiFi intermittent. The small desk which doubled as a dressing table was only just big enough for a laptop and nothing more. Although the room was generally very clean there were several hairs in the bed.
